Wallpapers from six different eras
In the wallpaper collection Alla Tiders Hus, Boråstapeter selects wallpapers from six different style epochs - two from each era - starting from the turn of the century 1800-1900 up to today.
When the 1800s ended and the 1900s began, the industry flourished, and more and more people could afford wallpaper in their homes. The wallpaper Klädesholmen (in the picture above) has an intricate medallion pattern believed to date from the late 1800s. The other wallpaper in the collection that fits into the turn of the century house is Aratorp, a densely patterned floral wallpaper with lilacs and leaves.
In the early 1900s, the Art Nouveau style and nature-inspired patterns dominated. One example is the large-flowered Haga (picture above) with water lilies in a graceful pattern. The other Art Nouveau wallpaper in the collection is Villastan, with a strict and graphic pattern.
In the 1920s, wallpaper patterns were airy and symmetrical. The wallpaper Trädgårdsstaden (picture above) has clear oriental influences. The second 20s wallpaper Salängen combines geometry and simple flowers.
Then came the golden age of functionalism, and in the 1940s and 1950s, wallpapers were soft, geometric, and playful. The wallpaper Ängby (in the picture above) is a typical functionalist wallpaper. From the 1950s also originates the popular floral wallpaper Flora, which now gets a continuation in the Alla Tiders Hus collection.
In the 1960s and 1970s, brick houses dominated, with a cozy feel and natural colors. The wallpaper Kryddhyllan (picture above) has a dense and intricate floral pattern that fits just as well in today's modern homes. A fine heir to the wallpapers Nocturne and Hip Rose! Plain wallpapers were also common in the 1970s, preferably with a weave or seagrass pattern. The wallpaper Vivalla is the other wallpaper in the collection from this era.
In today's modern homes, the floor plans are often open, and large spaces dominate. This also places demands on the wallpapers, which must work well together between the different rooms. The foliage wallpaper Skogsparken (picture at the top) is very beautiful with leaf silhouettes in a subdued color palette - a future favorite that we have high hopes for! The other modern wallpaper in the collection is the graphic wallpaper Sjöhagen with an arched geometric pattern.
Essens - harmonious and nature-inspired wallpapers
The wallpaper collection Essens is homely, harmonious, and natural. Boråstapeter has drawn inspiration from nature in Österlen on the Swedish south coast.
The wallpaper Lindskog has a dense pattern of flowers and leaves. The wallpaper is calm and harmonious and is available in three colors.
Longing for spring? Then the wallpaper Alice with its sweet and romantic flowers is something for you. The wallpaper is available in three colors.
The wallpaper Haväng is graphic with soft waves—or undulating wheat fields. The wallpaper is available in five mild color options.
The floral wallpaper Mira has a delicate watercolor pattern, a classic Scandinavian wallpaper. The wallpaper is available in four colors.
Also in the collection are the floral wallpapers Gabriella, with a tone-on-tone pattern with the background, and Äng with a dense floral pattern. Additionally, the modern leaf wallpaper Alma with a stylized, discreet pattern and the plain-colored Sten with soft marbling.
Timeless and traditional wallpapers
The wallpaper collection Timeless Traditions is newly created but at the same time very traditional in its patterns. The rustic wallpapers are charming, homely, and wonderfully floral. The collection is color-coordinated in four sections: pastel colors, classic blue-white, soft beige-white, nature-inspired green-blue-brown.
The wallpaper Folklore is a folk wallpaper and the original can be dated to the 1950s. The vibrant wallpaper comes in five harmonious colors.
The small floral wallpaper Skogsblomst is harmonious and fits well for example in the bedroom which becomes wonderfully cozy. Three color options.
The airy wallpaper Ängsblomma has a matte surface. The pattern was created in 1946 and is reminiscent of old Chinese fine porcelain. The wallpaper is available in four colors.
The wallpaper Blomsterfröjd has a symmetrical and dense pattern of winding flowers and leaves. The pattern dates back to the 1960s and is available in four colors.
The collection also includes the floral wallpaper Saga, the plain wallpaper Fredrika which has a small pattern, the striped wallpaper Gustaf, and the two trellis-patterned wallpapers Fredrik and Sommarslöja.
