Julia Bäck has done it again - created a new, unique poster that fits in all Stockholm lovers' homes. Her beautifully detailed drawings of six different buildings and monuments in central Stockholm evoke memories and feelings - and take us to a Stockholm we love.
On the Stockholm poster, Julia Bäck has depicted Gröna Lund, Stockholm City Hall, Gamla stan, Kristallvertikalaccent (also known as "Pinnen", a glass obelisk at Sergels torg), Västerbron, and the Royal Palace.
Julia Bäck first draws with pencil, then with ink. She either visits and studies the buildings she is going to draw, or she relies on pictures. Google Street View has proven to be a useful tool.
Countless are the hours Julia puts into each drawing. Much of the work is done by hand, while the final touch is done on the computer.
