Österbotten series came about when Aveo's founder and CEO, Anna Häggblom, together with designer Sofie Staffans-Lytz, wondered why it is so hard to find lovely gifts from Österbotten. The idea of a tray representing our beautiful landscape emerged. The end result is the delightful Österbotten tray with flying barn swallows, apple blossoms, cloudberry leaves, and a wooden boat waiting for pleasant rowing trips in our beautiful archipelago. The perfect gift from Österbotten, one of the best places on earth.

Österbotten tray for everyday and festive occasions

Our beloved Österbotten tray is good for so many things - perfect for carrying coffee out to the garden, serving cake at a party, or a cheese tray for a cozy evening. Or just let it stand out as part of the decor.

The Ostrobothnian tray comes in eight different colors. The red, rusty brown, green and sage green trays are perfect for Christmas. The red and pink trays are lovely for Valentine's Day. The yellow and green trays are perfect for Easter. The pink, mist blue and gray trays are lovely in the spring and early summer for Mother's Day, graduation, and confirmation. All colors are suitable for birthdays, housewarmings, engagements, and weddings, depending on the recipient's preferred colors.

The tray measures 31 cm in diameter and is made from FSC-certified birch veneer. The practical tray is dishwasher safe.

In addition to the Ostrobothnian tray, there are also two larger trays, three cutting boards, three kitchen towels, napkins, and dishcloths in the range.

The midsummer tray Johanna in black or white

With the midsummer tray Johanna, designer Sofie Staffans-Lytz meets the need for a modern gift from Ostrobothnia. She still draws inspiration from the Ostrobothnian nature with delicate apple blossoms and elegant midsummer roses. The tray is available in black or white and is very popular among both young and old.

Johanna is a popular gift for the younger generation – for example, at engagements, confirmations, and graduations. This tray is also very useful, for instance, as a cake stand, tapas tray, or beautiful decor piece.

The Johanna tray is slightly larger than the Österbotten tray, with a diameter of 38 cm. It is also made from FSC-certified birch veneer and is dishwasher safe.

Svedjehamn – the largest of them all

Svedjehamn-tray is the largest in the Ostrobothnia series. It highlights modern, Scandinavian forms and reminds us of the unique things we have close by.

The large tray is very practical for large gatherings, for instance, for large cakes or buns for the entire family. It is also beautiful to have under the other trays in the series.

The tray is made from FSC-certified birch veneer and measures 46 cm in diameter.

Three cutting boards from Österbotten

The Ostrobothnia series includes three cutting boards. First up is the black Äppelblom cutting board.

Äppelblom cutting board is small and cute, perfect for serving breakfast in bed, for small bites at a party, or as a cheese board.

The board is 19.5 x 20.5 cm, made from FSC-certified birch veneer, and is dishwasher safe.

The Ostrobothnia cutting board is available in gray and yellow. It is perfect for evening tea on the couch, as a placemat during meals, or even as decor.

It is made from FSC-certified MDF and should be hand-washed. The cutting board measures 17 x 40 cm and withstands heat up to 130 degrees Celsius.

Three kitchen towels in the Ostrobothnia series

We all need kitchen towels; here are three with connections to Ostrobothnia. First up is Äppelblom.

The Apple Blossom kitchen towel has the same pattern as on the Johanna tray and the black cutting board. It is available in beige or warm gray.

The kitchen towel is 50 x 70 cm in size. It is made of half linen and half cotton. It can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius and should not be tumble dried.

On the Ostrobothnia kitchen towel Boat the same boat can be found as on the Ostrobothnia trays.

The durable kitchen towel is made of half cotton and half linen. The kitchen towel is 50 x 70 cm. 

Dishcloths that can be washed and composted

Apple Blossom dishcloths are perfect for anyone who wants stylish and discreet dishcloths in the kitchen.

The dishcloths are the perfect eco-friendly gift that will also delight the person who has everything!

The package includes a larger gray dishcloth with an apple leaf pattern and two smaller solid black ones. The dishcloths can be washed at 90 degrees and when they are worn out, they can be thrown in the compost. They are made of 30% cotton and 70% cellulose. The gray dishcloth is 17.2 x 20 cm and the black one is 15.6 x 16.8 cm. 

Stylish black and white napkins

We all need napkins when it comes to celebrations, and what could be better than napkins with the same pattern as the Ostrobothnia trays?

The black and white Ostrobothnia napkins are made of FSC-certified paper. The dinner napkin is 33 x 33 cm and the coffee napkin is 25 x 25 cm. A pack contains 20 napkins.

Gifts for all occasions

All products in the Ostrobothnia series are great gifts all year round, and are appreciated by both young and old, by people from Ostrobothnia and as a gift from Ostrobothnia. It's perfectly fine to combine the different trays, cutting boards, kitchen towels, cloths, and napkins if you want to give a larger gift. 

The easiest way is to choose a tray or a cutting board as a base, and add a kitchen towel, dishcloths, and/or napkins. But the different trays can also be combined with each other, especially nice if you combine a larger and a smaller tray in one package.
