British Laura Ashley (1925-1985) is known for her floral fabrics and fashionable vintage-style clothing. The Laura Ashley brand is one of the most beloved British brands in home and lifestyle.
Wallpaper production began on a large scale in 1973 when Laura Ashley's husband Bernard thought the company needed another leg to stand on. Initially, the patterns were taken directly from the popular fabrics, and the success was so great that by 1978 all furnishing fabrics had corresponding wallpapers.
Laura Ashley's wallpapers are of non-woven quality and easy to wallpaper. The wallpapers are produced by Graham & Brown and are of high quality. The paper raw material used comes from FSC-certified forests.
